Description
After Joseph and his brothers passed away, Israelites multiplied in Egypt and this made the new king very angry. The king ordered the enslavement of the Israelites but that didn’t stop them from multiplying. Then the king ordered that all baby boys be killed, but during this time a son who was the great grandson of Jacob managed to escape with the help of his mother. The baby was wrapped and placed in a basket, he was found by a princess and was adopted by her, his name was Moses. Moses was who God used to free the Israelites from captivity.
This story tells us about the time in captivity of the Israelites at the hands of the Egyptians.
